DeepReader 1.1beta4 is now available for downloading! This is a public beta. BUT PLEASE ONLY REPORT NEW BUGS! (Check the Discussion Group above for all previous bug reports before sending me any new bug reports! Thanks!)

Warning! This version of the program may not be fully debugged! (Uh, that's why it's still considered "beta"...) If you have sensitive or irrecoverable data on your handheld or expansion cards, please do not use the beta software. Crashes are possible, and data loss is possible as well. Please back up your handheld regularly.

This is a ZIP format archive. Uncompress using any ZIP utility and follow the ReadMe document for further installation instructions. (You can get this one on a Mac or other machine as well, as long as you have the proper decompression utility.)

Some New Features that made it in BETA4:
- ARM (OS5) double-density compatibility! (ready to go, at 320x320 and now tested on Tungsten and NX60!)
- Better, Faster, Complete Screen Re-draws! (no more half-finished refresh)
- Sony NR70 Virtual Grafitti Support, meaning full 320x480 resolution!
- Quik-Menus, Quik-Find, Quik-Bookmarks - Super grafitti shortcuts! The option of single-stroke grafitti menus (no need to do the menu swipe) or a powerful immediate "find" in the document (just swipe the first few letters in the grafitti area, and a search is under way)! You can also jump instantly to any bookmark in the bookmark list -- just a quick swipe in the grafitti area!
- Now enhanced-Launcher aware! Load any eBook directly from such "smart" launchers as Launcher III (and others). (Also will respond to a GoTo command with Bookmark information, allowing dynamic linking from other programs!)
- Lots of other user-requested frills, including faster switching between full-screen mode, full-screen progress bar popups, multiple folder scanning on media cards, and more!

As of 5/23:
- now compatible with PageDown hack (though you might need more complete skins to see icons, if you're using modified skins; compatible DeepReader skins coming soon).
- if you use the PageDown hack, check to be sure you have Version "1.1b3+" by getting Info... and clicking the Version tab in the Launcher.

I am hopeful this version will make DeepReader the best interface for eBook reading available on the Palm. Thank you for your help in making this happen. Your feedback and comments are always welcome.
