(This double-checking mechanism is simply provided as a convenience
to reduce error and is entirely optional. It simply generates an "EDGE
ID" from your HotSync ID that you can compare to the Registration
Screen in EDGE.)
NEAR-INSTANT GRATIFICATION: After completing any form of "instantly-fulfilled"
purchase (such as credit card or PayPal transfer), your Registration
Code will be emailed to you within seconds of making the purchase.
As soon as PayPal confirms your purchase as "Completed" (not "Pending"
or "Uncleared"), your code is sent. Please
double-check that any spam-filtering tools that you use do not inadvertently
filter your incoming registration code! Please
also note that purchases using eChecks are fine but NOT instantaneous.
There is an "Uncleared" status of typically 3-4 business
days when using eChecks. (Also note that PayPal maintenance
or processing issues can sometimes also cause minor delays.)
